Every pen is polished to a high sheen and finished with pure tung oil - it is made to shine but also survive accidental drops.
Tung oil provides a waterproof, mold-resistant, resin-like barrier baked directly into the fibers of the wood. This oil has been chosen specifically because it does not detract from the natural feeling of wood on the hand, while still protecting the piece.
Fittings:
Fittings marked as ‘Elemental’ are made 100% of the described metal; Generally, they will tarnish over time as a feature of use and are simple to restore to original condition.
